Eddie Jaudouin started in the music profession in 1979 at 20 years old. He played guitar and bass guitar in many differents bands and was a songwriter too!
His first experience in the slide guitar universe was with an old Regal resonator guitar. After that he tried PSG but soon realized he preferred nonpedal steel guitar.
Eddie, also known to the steel guitar community as PapaYellowSteel, bought a Fender Champion from the Elderly shop in Michigan.
In May, 2007 he became a member of the Steel Guitar France Forum.
Afterwards he bought many lap steel guitar method instruction courses coming from the USA. Rick Alexander was his first nonpedal teacher.
In January, 2010 PapaYellowSteel joined the US Steel Guitar Forum.
Eddie started posting videos to his YouTube Channel in March of 2010.
Now Nonpedal Steel Guitar is a real passion. Eddie learns and plays every day with the C6th and E13th tunings on a Fender Deluxe 1968 and a Fender Dual Pro 1954.
His ambition is to open a "Music School" in his city of Angers (France) to give guitar and steel guitar lessons starting in September of 2011.
